Rivendale Turf Quick Questionnaire:

  1. Are you an Armidale and district resident?
  2. Do you want a tired old lawn replaced with a delightful carpet of green?

If you answered yes to both these questions, you are on your way to the lawn of your dreams.

The Ideal Climate

The Armidale climate makes turf laying a breeze, even in hot weather. According to BoM, over a 20 year period, the average top temperature for Armidale still remains below 30°C. With such a mild summer, it’s easy to establish turf, and when minimum temperatures reach as low as -11°C through the winter, your turf will be dormant, just waiting for the spring to return to vitality.

This variety has been specifically developed as a drought tough turf, which gives you a turf that uses significantly less water than other lawns.

Drought Tolerant TifTuf

Francesca from Rivendale Turf is enthusiastic about the TifTuf variety, “It should hold at least a little bit of green through the winter. If it doesn’t, it is the first thing that will green up as soon as warm weather hits in spring. TifTuf will be ideal for Armidale.”
